LEONARD "PAUL" MEADOWS, JR. PASSED

Paul Meadows, Jr, 82, went to be with our Lord and Savior August 6, 2009. Born June 14, 1927 to Leonard Meadows, Sr. and Vernie Ingle Meadows in Ashenville, NC. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. Paul was raised a Master Mason at Longview Lodge #404, served Masonry as a Charter Master of Peachtree Lodge #732, Atlanta, GA, Past Master of A. C. Garrett Lodge #1216 and a current member of Hillcrest Lodge #1318.

He was also a York Rite Mason, a member of the Shrine and a 33 degree Scottish Rite Mason. He had been a member of the East Dallas Christian Church for 37 years and served as an elder and Sunday school teacher. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Helen, son Monte Meadows and wife Kathy, daughter Marilyn Riha-Kourvelas, and grandchildren Erin, Chris, Adam, Lauren and Keeley. Proceeded in death by his parents and brother Eugene E. Meadows. Donations may be made to East Dallas Christian Church or Scottish Rite Children's Hospital. Visitation-Sunday, August 9, 2:00 to 4:00pm at Restland Funeral Home, 1306. S Greenville Avenue. Gravesite Monday, August 10, 10:00am at Restland and Memorial Service 11:30am at East Dallas Christian Church, 629 N Peak Street Dallas, TX.
